Can I Train My Own Employees For Their CDL?
Training your own employees seems like a great idea, but you’re going to be spending a lot more money and resources than you realize.
You have to…
- Become a federally regulated FMCSA approved training provider
- Get licensed by the state
- Keep up with ELDT training requirements
- Update your training to stay up to date with changing road test
- Train and pay for your own certified CDL instructors
- Take one or more of your vehicles out of service for training and testing
- Cover the costs of any failed exams
Why would you go through the frustration of your employees failing their road test over and over from subpar training when you can just have your employees trained by the best CDL school, Driving Academy!
